About the Author Yvonne Koslowsky was born in Salford, England.  She is married, has three daughters, and currently resides in Northern California. She enjoys reading, music, art, and travel. Yvonne Koslowsky believes that reading to a child early helps stimulate the mind and develop the imagination. About the Illustrator Kevin Scott Collier has worked as Art Director for The Grand Haven Tribune daily newspaper for over 25 years.  His artwork and designs have won several awards.  Collier has illustrated more than 30 children's books.
