Karen Capello is a second grade teacher who lives and works in Massachusetts. She has seven wonderful grandchildren, a mini Schnauzer named Elvis and passion for children’s books.

About the Illustrator

Marc Leitzel, a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, is an artist, animator, and film maker from Cape Cod. He now works and teaches at the Artists for the Arts Gallery in Mashpee Commons, MA.
