About the Author

Author LOIS COLLINS KERR is a native and current resident of New Hampshire but she, her husband and two children have lived and worked in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, The Philippines, and Egypt. It was in a painting class in Egypt that she discovered her love for watercolor painting. In addition to writing "Harry Wesley Spencer’s Boots", Lois is also the author/illustrator of "A Blink Is As Good As A Wink" and the illustrator of "Duck Strut". About the Illustrator

Illustrator MELISSA A. MAIORANO has a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design. She paints commissioned works and exhibits in the New York area. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters. Harry Wesley Spencer’s Boots was her first experience in the special world of illustrating children’s picture books but she has already started her next book, "Grandmother’s Gift".
