About the Author
Katharine Roberson is a first-time author who has been jotting down
story concepts for years. Having kept journals on travels from
safaris in Kenya to elephant rides in Thailand, she decided to
pursue this book to encourage her grandchildren to express their own
ideas and dreams in writing. "Each of the rhymes in my book was
conceived on a 3-mile walk - I suppose it was the fresh air and
nature that triggered my childlike imagination!" The author was
raised in Richmond, Virginia, where her career librarian mother
instilled in her an early love of books. She resides with her
husband in San Clemente, California.
