Favorite Scriptures from Mrs. Cookie is
a book of pictures and short commentaries on my favorite Bible
verses which is designed to help children become familiar with some
of the most common and most important passages from Scriptures.
There is also space for the reader to note their own thoughts or
feeling about the scripture. It is written on a very simple and
elementary level. The illustrations are mostly original watercolors
by the author. It covers 25 sections of the Bible from both Old and
New Testament which the author has found most meaningful over the
years in her work with children. |

About the Author
Janelle Covey is a mother, grandmother,
foster mother and amateur artist. She was born and has lived her
whole live in northern New York. She began following Jesus Christ as
her Lord and Savior 30 years ago and it is her wish to share the
good news with others by any means that God opens to her. |
